Terms of Service

1. What YumeKumo is (and is not)

YumeKumo is an index. We provide metadata about anime and links submitted by our community to third-party websites. We do not host, upload, store or stream any video or copyrighted media.

When you click a source, you leave YumeKumo and access content hosted by a third party that we neither operate nor control. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those third-party sites.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. Some content is marked as mature or explicit (NSFW) and is only available to users who have verified they are 18 or older. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, do not impersonate others, and do not choose a username that is misleading, offensive or reserved.

You may deactivate your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

4. Community content and conduct

YumeKumo relies on user contributions, comments, source links, anime requests and more. You are responsible for what you submit.

You agree not to: post illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative content; submit malware, spam or misleading links; harass or abuse other users; attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or violate any applicable law.

We may remove content and restrict or terminate accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.

5. Source submissions

When you submit a source link, you confirm it points to content you believe is appropriate to share and that you are not bypassing any technical protection on our Service. Submitted links are reviewed and voted on by the community and moderators.

We may remove any link at any time, especially broken links, low-quality sources, or links reported as harmful or infringing.

6. Copyright and takedowns

We respect intellectual property rights. Because YumeKumo hosts no media, the only thing within our control is a link in our index, the underlying file lives on a third-party host.

If you are a rights holder (or their authorized agent) and believe a link in our index points to infringing material, email support@yumekumo.moe with: identification of the work, the specific YumeKumo URL(s) containing the link(s), and a statement of your authority to act. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the offending link(s) from our index.

To have the underlying file removed, you must contact the third-party host that actually stores it. We may restrict accounts that repeatedly submit infringing links.

7. Moderation and enforcement

Moderation is carried out by volunteers and automated checks. We may, without prior notice, remove content, hide sources, issue warnings, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community. These decisions are made at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that information is accurate or complete, that sources work, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Anime metadata is provided by third parties (such as AniList) and may contain errors.

The Service is funded by third-party advertising. Ads, and any sites they link to, are provided by the advertising network and its partners, not by us. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, advertised products, services or external sites; any dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

You use the Service, and any third-party links accessed through it, at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the YumeKumo team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or from any third-party content or site accessed through it.

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above, and significant changes may be announced in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable European law. Where required, the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence still apply.
